Each solution deployed by IT.com is highly customized. We look at all aspects of the search problem, and plan a solution that creatively leverages our technology to to its maximum effect.
Analysis
IT.com performs a thorough analysis of the corpus to be searched, and develops a strategy, given the intention of the searcher, to produce the most relevant results. We also work with your IT contractor or internal staff to determine the best integration strategy for embedding the search portal in the project site.
Search Solution Development and Deployment
In this phase, we implement the calibration strategy formulated in the Analysis phase, and produce a prototype for review for quality of results. We then tune search results based on feedback from stakeholders and on our own internal analysis of search engine performance. Then we configure or customize any components necessary for integration with the rest of the portal website, to ready the search portal for deployment.
Hosting Preparation
Finally, IT.com provisions, prepares, installs, configures, hardens, and function tests the hosting environment for the search portal, and sets up all of the required monitoring and communication procedures.
